Post Abortion Healing

We are here to help.

The memories of an abortion, no matter how long ago, can linger and remain long after the loss of a pregnancy through abortion. The emotions inside of you, or from others, may have left you feeling hopeless, almost as if there is no way to move on from this trauma. You may feel alone, but you are not. We are here, and we can be your next loving step in reclaiming the hope you feel is lost.

At The Well, we have people ready to come alongside you as you make that next step in recovery.  We know that the trauma of abortion may leave you feeling depressed, anxious, or even like your relationships and world are falling apart. Through counseling and mentorship, we can assist you as you take the next step in your journey to recovery, reclaiming the parts of your life that feel wounded.

We know that there are those who do not understand what abortion trauma can do to an individual, but we do, and we are here to help.

We have partnered with "If Not For Grace Ministries" which seeks to provide opportunities for restoration to those who have been impacted by abortion, walking with them as God restores their relationship with Himself, others, and their children. We believe in the restorative power of forgiveness in the lives of women, men, and families impacted by abortion. If you are in need of support and would like to talk with someone. What does post-abortion trauma look like?

Post-abortion trauma can occur in both partners after an abortion. This is usually a result of unresolved emotions, thoughts, or even physical problems following an abortion procedure. Every person has their own experience, which means that each individual is subject to a unique set of symptoms. You have the right to work out and resolve your issues with someone trained to help. The goal of our post-abortion support program is to help support you, listen to you, and equip you for everything that you need to find healing, forgiveness, and the ability to move forward.

If you identify with more than two of these symptoms, it could be that you are experiencing Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) A woman who is experiencing PASS needs to complete the natural grieving process and realize that they are not alone.

What are my next steps?

The Well offers nine-week classes led by trained peer facilitators for abortion-wounded women. These classes are small, offering a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where discussions and personal application of biblical truths often lead to spiritual and emotional freedom. Through the use of creative and artistic expression, journaling and Bible reading, participants work to overcome lies that bind them.
